1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. They're widely used to make sites work, remember your preferences and produce anonymous analytics about how the site is used.
2. The cookies we use
We try to use as few cookies as possible. Where we do, they fall into two groups:
Strictly necessary (always on)
- Session & security — keep the site working safely (CSRF protection, basic abuse detection). Required and cannot be disabled.
- Cookie consent — remembers your preferences from the cookie banner.
Optional (only with consent)
- Analytics — anonymous, aggregated data on which pages are popular, how long people stay, where they came from. Helps us improve the site. We use a privacy-friendly analytics provider that does not build cross-site profiles.
- Functional — remembers UI preferences (e.g. light/dark mode, dismissed banners).
We do not currently set cross-site advertising or social-network tracking cookies.
3. Third-party services
Some pages embed assets from trusted third parties (Google Fonts, Unsplash images). These providers may set their own cookies according to their own policies. If we add embedded video, social widgets or chat in future, the cookies they set will be listed here and consent will be requested.
4. How to control cookies
You can:
- Re-open your preferences using the button below and change your choices at any time.
- Block or delete cookies in your browser settings — see aboutcookies.org for guides per browser.
- Use private/incognito mode for a session that doesn't persist cookies.
Disabling strictly necessary cookies may stop some parts of the site working.
5. Changes
If we add or remove cookies, we'll update this page and re-prompt for consent where required. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change.
